THREE OUTFITS | ONE SKIRT

This last weekend I went shopping with my mom and found the cutest skirt at Topshop. I just recently got more into wearing skirts and when I saw this one I fell in love with it! Being a college student, I don't have crazy amounts of money to spend on clothes and because of that, I often find myself gravitating more towards basics that I can interchange with many different outfits!

I love this skirt because although it has the buttons and ruffled top, it is simple enough to be made into many different outfits for any type of girl.

The first look is a day look and definitely more girly. This is perfect for school, brunch, or even work depending on your job. The light brown buttons give the skirt such a spring and summer feel. I paired it with this light blue and white striped shirt from Forever 21! The shirt has cream ties for straps that compliment the skirt so nicely! For shoes I went with brown tie sandals to bring the whole outfit together.

I'm not one for really girly/frilly outfits, but I loved this look!

The second look is more sporty-chic (one could say). I just bought the Adidas Gazelle shoes and they look so cute with this skirt! I paired it with my Adidas classic t-shirt. It has a neutral color scheme (perfect for the not so girly girls) and is very trendy. I ended up wearing this outfit the rest of the day and it was so comfortable and I felt great in it!

The final outfit is a night look. When you're ballin' on a budget, it's great to find pieces that are not only super cute but that you can also wear a ton and dress up or down! This outfit is also great for work. I work at Nordstrom and this is definitely something I would wear to work! I paired the skirt with a basic bodysuit from Urban Outfitters and my Topshop leather jacket! The leather makes it more edgy. For shoes I went with Steve Madden Mules. I've been wearing these since last summer and they still look and wear great!
