WHY I STARTED BLOGGING

My website has been live for about 2 weeks now! Yay! I'm so happy to finally have it shared with all of you. Like I mentioned on my Instagram, this truly is something I've been wanting to start for a few years now. I got really interested in fashion and makeup in the 7th grade.

As embarrassing as it is, the girl you're looking at (below) used to film the worst videos on a silly flip camera. I would sit in my living room and do "look books" and "what I got for Christmas" and "haul" videos. I always knew that I wanted to share my passions and interests with people, but never had the courage to and truly didn't know where to start.

SO MUCH HAS CHANGED

I have always looked up to influencers like Lauren Elizabeth (if ya know, ya know), Claudia Sulewski, Mariana Hewitt and many more. I loved that they were sharing their passions with the world and making a career out of it. Over the past seven years of watching them and gaining more confidence, I felt more and more like this was something I really wanted to get into!

While I still love the thought of starting a youtube channel one day, I decided that the first step was to start blogging. So here I am! Kerrilyn Nicole has been in the making for about two years now. I've gone back and forth about what I would write about (and name it) and what would interest people the most but decided to write about what I truly loved the most: fashion (and bits of skincare)!

I'm still learning and improving, but I am truly excited to see where this blog takes me and what impact I can make with it! Though my love is fashion and skincare, I want this blog to be more than that. I believe I have a story to tell and I want this to be a platform that I can do that on. I pray this blog can be something fun for people to read and learn from but also a place where I share a passion and a calling that I believe the Lord has placed on my heart for a purpose. I'm so excited to see what Kerrilyn Nicole has in store for the future!
