Having clear skin has been the biggest struggle for me! I feel like it's a constant battle with finding the best products and figuring out what exactly is causing the breakouts. This past year I've become extremely interested and invested in skincare and have found some amazing products for the skin! Some of them are acne fighting while others are great for texture, hydration, or skin tone!
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are great when it comes to fighting acne! They are extremely intense on the skin so it's important to know how to use them and to not use any other acne fighting products at the same time! Facials are a great way to get a chemical peel, but they can be expensive! There are some great at-home options that I have tried or have heard great things about! Chemical peels are great for resurfacing which helps with texture and dark spots. I'm currently using the Lancome Visionnaire Night Peel and I LOVE it! I have found it to work wonders on my acne too! When using this product you want to follow the directions! Use Phase 1 for 14 nights then Phase 2 for 14 nights. After the cycle you will want to take a 1-2 month break!

Face Masks
Face masks are AMAZING! Using them consistently truly does make a difference in skin tone, texture, and acne! Some of my favorite masks are from Herbivore. I love this brand because it's vegan and cruelty free but does wonders for the skin! Glam Glow also has amazing masks! The SuperMud Clearing mask is awesome for breakouts!
Face Oils and Moisturizers
I often hear people with acne being scared to use face oils and moisturizers because they don't want to add any oil to their face in fear of more acne. HYDRATION IS IMPORTANT! Face oils and moisturizers are very important for the skin! Your skin needs oil and if you're only stripping it of it's natural oils, it's only going to produce more. Knowing the ingredients in your face oils and knowing what kind of moisturizer to buy will help nourish the skin but not clog pores! Do your research and make sure you're getting products that are going to be effective and actually feed your skin. My favorite oil is Lapis by Herbivore. It's great for people with acne because it helps balance the skin and aids in resurfacing which helps with texture! I've been using the Lancome moisturizer for a couple weeks now and love it! It doesn't clog my pores but really does help with hydration (which I need when using the chemical peel)!
